Copy the contents of the Lego Chess CD and paste them into the folder that was created before. When everything has finished copying, go to and delete the SETUP.EXE file. Download the generic 32-bit installer and add it to the folder. Sep 20, 2015 Did they ever publish LEGO Chess? The patch doesn't work for me, it just makes the game keep asking for a disc, even though it's there. Thought I might as well post it here anyway. Chalk me up as another person who learned chess from this game - Come on, GOG, give me a bit of my childhood back!
I *have* a CD of this game, but it is extremely hard to get it to play on any modern PC. The last system it (sort of) worked on was an old XP,SP2 machine, and even then you had to run some sort of patch so it could find the CDROM or somesuch. I would *love* to be able to get this running on a modern machine. (Or under WINE on linux!)
