The fix requires you to reinstall the game, but even with my relatively slow internet it was worth it.

Here goes.

Step 1

Uninstall the game.

Step 2

Download and install: swtor_setup.exe

Step 3

Run the launcher, without logging in. Let the launcher do it's self-update.

Step 4 Go into your swtor directory and open the launcher.settings file in notepad.

It should to look like:

, 'language': 'en-us'

Fix

}

If it doesn't

You may have to log in and start the downloading process for it to look like this, I can't remember if I did that. Anyways, if you have to then login, start the process and quit the launcher again. Now the file should look like the above.

Step 5

Change the two bold lines in the file so it'll look like:

{ 'Login': 'SEKRIT'

, 'LastProduct': '

, 'downloadRate': '0'

, 'language': 'en-us'

, 'TestServerAccess': 'No'

, 'SpecHash': 'SEKRIT,'

, 'AutoClose': 'NONE'

, 'KillKillProc': 'false'

, 'LastMode': 'PROD'

, 'PatchingMode': '{ 'swtor': 'SSN' }'

, 'bitraider_download_complete': { }

, 'log_levels': 'INFO,SSNFO,ERROR'

, 'bitraider_disable': true

, 'DevLogin': '

, 'EnableAutoEnvironment': 'false'

, 'LastEnvironment': '

, 'loglevels': 'INFO,SSNFO,ERROR'

, 'P2PEnabled': 'false'

, 'enableRateLimit': 'false'

, 'uploadRate': '0'

, 'InternalLaunchpad': 'null'

, 'InternalGamepad': 'null'

, 'ExternalLaunchpad': 'null'

Patch

, 'ExternalGamepad': 'null'

Crack Download

, 'HardPatcherMode': 'PROD'

, 'PickedEnvironments': 'swtor'

}

Obviously you'll have something different than SEKRIT, but the bold lines are the only important ones.

Reinstall the game, and enjoy it without the silly broken streaming launcher.
