Goal
To create a working cauldron server that is backwards compatible with existing server installations. The cauldron installation will be immensely faster then the default server installation taken from ATLauncher. It should be used even if the usage of craftbukkit plugins are not planned.

TL;DR BENEFITS:
Immensely faster over the default crackpack server.
Supports bukkit plugins while keeping full compatibility with forge mods.
Indirectly increases FPS client-side from the server-side optimizations.
Prerequisites
Java 7 or 8
Knowledge on the usage of ATLauncher
Basic server management skills.
A working java environment path. (You can check by opening up command prompt for Windows or bash for Linux and entering the command 'java')
Steps
Download your preferred CrackPack server version from ATLauncher. DO NOT TICK FASTCRAFT.
If selected CrackPack server version is 1.7.10: Download Maeyanie's Cauldron 1.7.10 198 server installer, the latest cauldron BPS patch (as of this post), and the spigot patcher. Keep all of the downloaded files in the same folder.
3. Open up a command prompt/bash shell and CD to where you kept the downloaded files.
4. Type in the following to patch the cauldron installer:
5. Now open cauldron-patched.jar by double-clicking it or by launching it in the same command prompt/bash shell instance with:
6. Change the install directory to it's own folder and install. I prefer a new folder on my desktop.

7. Go to the shiny new cauldron server installation you've just created and replace the config, mods, asm, and scripts folder with the folders from the CrackPack server you've downloaded earlier. Also, move/copy the libraries folder in the folder of the CrackPack server to the new server installation and allow all folder merges but deny all file replacements. If you wish, move/copy over your world folder and server.properties file as well if you want to keep your existing world.
8. Open a plaintext editor of choice (for Windows: notepad) and pop in this command:
9. Save it to the cauldron server folder as Launch.bat (or Launch.sh for Linux). If using notepad, make sure you save as 'All Files' and not '.txt'.
And you're done! Use the launch script you've just made by double-clicking it to launch the server.
How to update an existing cauldron installation
Since CrackPack 2 is quite young in it's development, updates may frequently occur. If that happens, just download the new CrackPack server from ATLauncher, delete the asm, config, libraries, mods, and scripts folder in the cauldron server, and copy over the same folders you've deleted from the CrackPack server you've downloaded.
